Meet our dedicated and passionate instructors

Francesca

Founder and Owner of Gymlab.

I am a certified UKCC Level 2 Rhythmic Gymnastics Coach with a valid "Safeguarding and Protecting Children" certificate, first aid certification, and a DBS check.
Additionally, I hold a degree in Social Sciences, where I discovered my passion for working with people.

My love for teaching gymnastics extends to both adults and children, with the Montessori method as my primary inspiration when working with young ones.
This led me to complete the 0-3 AMI Assistants Course successfully.

As a former rhythmic gymnast, I have an extensive background in practising and coaching the sport.
I attended my first class at age 4 and instantly fell in love with it.
I have participated in national and international competitions throughout my career, including representing Italy in the 2005 European Championship in Moscow.

Through Gymlab, I am thrilled to ignite the same passion for gymnastics in others, helping them to unlock their potential and experience the joy of movement, growth, and self-expression.
Together, let's run, jump, and flip towards a brighter and healthier future!

Silvia

Supervisor at Gymlab.

I’m a qualified Dance teacher and I have been training and coaching for Gymlab since 2022.

I’m DBS checked and I have my safeguarding for children certificate.

I started my dance training at Dance Studio in Cesena, Italy.

I moved to the UK to attend the Centre Performing Arts College, where I graduated in 2016 with a Diploma in Theatre Performance. During my training, I gained my DDI teaching qualifications in Ballet and Modern. Since then I worked as a freelance dance artist in the UK in several productions: Chrysalis London’s Lilith, Savage and Candy; Hinged Dance Company’s Flowers in December, Snow Patrol’s music video for ‘Don’t Give In’, Becky Namgauds’ Rodadoras (R&D and tour).

In 2023, I graduated from Goldsmiths University with a First Honours Degree in Art Management.

Alongside teaching, I work as an independent producer within the performing arts.

My teaching experience includes Liz Dentong School of Dance, Arte & Movimento (IT), Kinema Danza, The Centre PAC, as well as Sportilia Summer Intensive.

I'm also on a mission to teach gymnastics to little ones, because who said tiny tumbles couldn’t lead to big leaps?

Stefania

My experience includes working with children aged 5 to 10 as a P.E. teacher in an Italian primary school.
Besides my fitness qualifications, I also hold a law degree and am a practising lawyer.
However, my lifelong passion for sports keeps me constantly on the move and engaged in physical activities!

Harriet

I am a British Gymnastics Level 2 Women's Artistic Gymnastics coach and hold a Level 1 qualification in gymnastics judging.
Along with being DBS checked, I have received safeguarding and first aid training and have extensive experience working in childcare throughout my undergraduate studies at university.

My journey in coaching began as a volunteer when I was just 15 years old.
After obtaining my Level 1 coaching qualification, I continued coaching at the club where I started my gymnastics journey.
While attending university, I coached at a club in Windsor and am now delighted to be part of the exceptional team at Gymlab as I complete my master's degree.

My passion for gymnastics began when I started practising at the age of 5.
Over the years, I have competed at a high level in artistic gymnastics, including national grade competitions.
Additionally, I have achieved a Grade 8 in ballet (RAD), a discipline that is intrinsically connected to gymnastics.

My love for the sport continues to grow, and I find immense joy in coaching and sharing my passion with others!
